Public Notice: Scottsdale Housing Agency Administrative Plan

The City of Scottsdale will host public hearings on Thursday, August 13, 2026, and Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at Granite Reef Senior Center 1700 N Granite Reef Rd. Scottsdale, Arizona 85257. The public hearings aim to obtain citizen input on the 2026 PHA Administrative Plan for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program.

The public comment period will commence on August 7, 2026, and ends on September 21, 2026. Written comments will be accepted by the Housing and Community Assistance Office through September 21, 2026, addressed to Christina Cooley, Housing Supervisor at 6535 E. Osborn Rd. Bldg. 8, Scottsdale, AZ 85251.

The PHA Administrative Plan has been developed in compliance with applicable federal regulations to address the expenditures of federal funds from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The Administrative Plan will be available for review on the city’s webpage at www.scottsdaleaz.gov, at the Housing and Community Assistance Office, and the Scottsdale Public libraries. The Administrative Plan is also available in alternate format upon request by calling 480-312-7156.

It is the policy of the City of Scottsdale not to discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, religion, age, sex, disability, familial status, or national origin. The PHA Administrative Plan establishes local policies for administration of the program in accordance with HUD requirements. The Administrative Plan and any revisions of the plan must be formally adopted by the PHA Board of Commissioners or other authorized PHA officials. The Administrative Plan states PHA policy on matters for which the PHA has discretion to establish local policies. The Administrative Plan must be in accordance with HUD regulations and requirements and is a supporting document to the PHA Plan and the 5 year plan and must be available for public review. The PHA must revise the Administrative Plan if needed to comply with HUD requirements.
