CAB Connection
CAB Connection is a unique taxi voucher program for Scottsdale seniors and people with disabilities. The program offers residents more flexibility and greater independence at an affordable price. Participants receive up to 20 one-way vouchers per month to apply towards cab fare. The vouchers are subsidized by the city and cover 80 percent of a one-way trip up to a maximum of $10. Participants are responsible for the remaining trip cost and driver tip. To qualify for CAB Connection vouchers you must be a Scottsdale resident age 65 or older, certified as disabled through the Valley Metro Mobility Center. In some cases CAB Connection vouchers may be available for individuals with a temporary disability. Active drivers can apply for CAB Connection vouchers and the program is not subject to income requirements.
