Records Requests

Scottsdale City Court records are available to the public upon written request.

Look up a case for the Scottsdale City Court to retrieve basic case information. If a case cannot be found online, please contact the court for assistance.

Records requests may be made by submitting request online or completing the records request form (PDF) and delivering it to the Scottsdale City Court in person (in the lobby drop-box), by mail, email or fax. Record requests made over the phone will not be accepted.

Standard processing time for record requests is five to seven business days. A court representative will contact the requester when the records are ready.

Upon receipt of a request for court records, the Scottsdale City Court will assess the following fees:

Record Request Fee

A $17 Record Request Fee will be applied to all records requests (ARS § 22-404links to external site).

Copy Fees

All copy requests are subject to a $0.50 per page fee (ARS § 22-404links to external site).

Certification Fees

In addition to any applicable Minimum Clerk Fees and Copy Fees, a $17 Certification Fee will be charged on each request for certification.

Audio Fees

A copy of an audio CD for court proceedings, if available, may be made for a fee of $17 for each CD.

Forms of Payment

Please do not submit pre-payment for records requests. You will be contacted when the records request is complete and given the amount due.

Payment may be made in the form of money order, bank certified check, personal check, credit card (most major credit cards accepted), or if paying in person, cash is acceptable. A $25.00 charge will be assessed on all Non-Sufficient Funds checks.

Payment is due in full for all of the above prior to release of any request for information.

Criminal Courtrooms
Monday - Friday, 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30pm - 4:30pm.

Protective Orders
Monday - Friday, 8-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-5 p.m.
To include only the following:

  • New Protective Order Petition Filings
  • Injunction Against Harassment
  • Injunction Against Workplace Harassment
  • Plaintiff Motions to Quash or Modify a Protective Order

Closed on city holidays

Except the first and third Wednesday of each month, open 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
