The Vista del Camino Food Bank provides monthly food boxes and homeless walking bags to Scottsdale residents and persons experiencing homelessness.
How to get involved
Drop off food donations
Donations can be dropped off during normal business hours.
Some of the most needed items include: peanut butter, jelly, canned protein (chicken, tuna, spam), canned ravioli, canned fruits (no sugar added or packed in 100% fruit juice), canned vegetables, canned corn, canned tomatoes, dry or canned beans, soup, boxed prepared meals, such as mac and cheese and Hamburger Helper.
Various toiletries are also needed: toilet paper, paper towels, deodorant, shampoo, dental hygiene products.
Monetary donations can be made to Scottsdale Community Partners (SCP), and mailed to Vista’s address or made online . Donations to SCP, a qualifying charity under tax code 501(c)3, are tax deductible.
Host a food drive
Food Drives help to stock shelves and play a vital role in encouraging community participation and awareness. If you’d like to host a food drive for Vista del Camino, collection containers are available for pick up at our 7700 E Roosevelt location or can be dropped off to your location. Collected food donations of over 300 lbs can be picked up by Vista del Camino staff.
