Food Bank

The Vista del Camino Food Bank provides food boxes and homeless walking bags to Scottsdale residents and persons experiencing homelessness up to 6 times each year.  

How to get involved

Drop off food donations

Donations can be dropped off during normal business hours.

Some of the most needed items include: peanut butter, canned protein (chicken, tuna, spam), canned ravioli, canned fruits (no sugar added or packed in 100% fruit juice), canned vegetables, dry or canned beans, cereal and boxed prepared meals, such as mac and cheese and Hamburger Helper.

Various toiletries are also needed: toilet paper, paper towels, deodorant, shampoo, dental hygiene products.

Monetary donations 

Monetary donations can be made to Scottsdale Community Partners (SCP), and mailed to Vista’s address or made online links to external site. Donations to SCP, a qualifying charity under tax code 501(c)3, are tax deductible.

Host a food drive

Food Drives help to stock shelves and play a vital role in encouraging community participation and awareness. If you’d like to host a food drive for Vista del Camino food boxes are available for pick up or drop off at our 7700 E Roosevelt location. Collected Food totals over 200 lbs can be picked up by Vista del Camino staff.

Do you need food assistance?

To receive food assistance call Vista’s front desk at 480-312-2323 and make an appointment. Photo ID and proof of Scottsdale residency required for Food Box appointments. Clients are eligible to receive six food boxes per year.
