Old Town Scottsdale Bicycle Master Plan

Planning

Project Overview

Old Town offers numerous activities and destinations for cyclists and is within a half mile of the Indian Bend Wash Path, the Arizona Canal Path and the Crosscut Canal Path that make up the larger Scottsdale cycling network. While Scottsdale overall is very bicycle friendly, gaps and barriers to cycling into and within the Old Town area remain. Improving the bicycle infrastructure of Old Town will increase active transportation, which in turn can improve health, the economy and overall quality of life for Scottsdale residents, visitors and business owners.

The Old Town Scottsdale Bicycle Master Plan will evaluate existing bicycle infrastructure and conditions into and within Old Town Scottsdale and then identify opportunities to improve the Old Town bicycle network.

The city of Scottsdale is encouraging the public to participate in this planning effort vital to improving Old Town Scottsdale.
