Come out and enjoy the sport of Pickleball at one of several drop-in locations throughout Scottsdale. Courts are available on a first come, first served basis. No reservation is required. No amplified sound is permitted at these locations.

Classes
New to the sport of Pickleball? Parks and Recreation offers a variety of seasonal Pickleball instructional classes to fit your needs. Every session begins with a quick assessment of each player's ability to determine your best needs.
Consider registering for one of our beginner classes, or hone your skill level through one of our advanced beginner classes.
Beginner Classes are designed for the beginner in Pickleball to learn the basics and get started with this fun sport!
Our Advanced Beginner Pickleball Clinics are designed for the experienced beginner in Pickleball to hone your skills and advance your level of play.

Learning League Play
The City of Scottsdale is pleased to offer learning leagues are designed to offer competitive play with players of similar skills, in an environment where our Coaches will offer instructional tips and encouragement during your matches.
Our Advanced Beginner and Intermediate Pickleball Leagues are designed to offer competitive play with players of similar skills, in an environment where our Coaches will offer instructional tips and encouragement during your matches.
- Advanced Beginner: Advanced Beginner Players know the rules, scoring, and basic shots.
This is a learning league where players will be encouraged to work on developing new shots and their consistency.
- Intermediate: Player can sustain longer rallies with players of equal ability. Able to approach the non-volley zone and hit volleys. Aware of dinks. Good understanding of the rules. This player has a consistent serve. Able to make all basic strokes. Understands basic strategy and fundamentals. Attempts lobs and dinks. Attended City of Scottsdale Advanced Beginner Courses.
This is a learning league where players will be encouraged to work on new shots, improve on their consistency and work on both their hard and soft game.
