Scottsdale's After-School Program
Spring Break Camps 2023!
March 13 - 17; trained recreation staff will provide structured, engaging recreational and educational activities that include arts & crafts, games, sports, fitness and specialty programs.
M-F 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Fee is $150 for the week.
This program is considered "drop-in." This means youth are permitted to come and go as they wish. Participants do not sign in and sign out.
*Inclusion services for participants with disabilities are available at no extra charge. Please call Adapted Recreation Services at 480-312-2218 for more information.

2022-2023 Scottsdale After-School Programs
After-School programs run Monday - Friday from school release until 6 p.m., (start times vary due to school schedules). Programs start and end in correlation with the Scottsdale Unified School District calendar, including all regular school breaks.
Our trained recreation leaders conduct daily activities including:
- Arts & crafts
- Sports, fitness & games
- Educational programs
- Gardening & nutrition
- Drama
- Cookouts
- Homework help
- Guest speakers
- Special events
Who Can Attend
Youth in grades K-6, depending on location. The cost is $650 for the year; $65/ month payment plan is available. Programs are located at the following locations.

Scottsdale's After-School programs may have limited registration based upon the school your student attends. Please contact Scottsdale Youth Development at 480-312-2329 to locate the closest after-school program location where you can register your child.
Drop-in Policy
During most program days, participants may arrive at any time after the program begins and they may depart at any time without signing in or out.
Special Needs
If your child has special needs relating to disability, please contact Adaptive Recreation Services at 480-312-2218. Inclusion services for participants with disabilities are available at no extra charge. Staff will discuss your child’s needs and determine appropriate accommodations. Children with disabilities are included into existing programs with their non-disabled peers.
