Description: Women’s History Month is a celebration of women’s contributions to history, culture and society and has been observed annually in the month of March in the United States since 1987.

This year, the city of Scottsdale will honor women with an event at 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, at the Indigenous Cultural Center at Scottsdale Community College, 9000 E. Chaparral Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85256.

The theme for Women’s History Month 2023 is “Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories.” Our featured speaker is Collette V. Smith, coach, activist and trailblazer.
