This is a special outdoor event where you will have the opportunity to observe, smell, harvest, and taste a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. April is a fantastic month for planting seeds for summer harvesting. Learn what to plant now to grow an abundant garden. These sustainable practices will bring renewed energy and delight, towards creating a more engaged outdoor landscape.

The site-specific garden tour adventure will begin at 5 p.m. Friday, April 26, at 8325 E. Monte Vista Rd. Scottsdale 85257. There is plenty of street parking (located just west of Granite Reef and north of McDowell roads). The property is on the south side of the street with mesquite trees and Ocotillo fencing in the front.

Learn about the different sizes and shapes for gardening in small spaces. Meet the resident chickens! Learn simple composting techniques, pest control tricks, tools for pruning, and how to harvest rainwater. These are all valuable Earth Month practices to support living a sustainable landscape life. There will be a selection of seeds for you to plant and take home.
