Scottsdale’s Parks and Recreation department will offer two weeks of a special May Kids Camp from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays May 18 – 22 and May 26 – 29.
Kids will participate in fun and exciting recreational activities including crafts, sports, games and much more. A morning and afternoon snack will be provided daily. A lunch with drink is required for all participants.
Limited spots are available for student entering 1st through 8th grades; with registration beginning 8 a.m. Friday, May 15.

Participants will be broken up into groups of 10 kids, with 1 staff per group
Children should bring a water bottle, wear closed-toe shoes and have sunscreen applied upon drop off.
Important Information regarding program staff and participant safety:
If a child is sick, he or she needs to stay home.
Temperature screenings will take place for staff and participants before entering the building each day.
If a child becomes ill during the program, they will be isolated and sent home.
City staff will wear masks. Masks are not required for participants
The city will provide hand wash stations and disinfectant wipes.
Parents will drop off and pick up students at the door, and will not enter the buildings.
Custodial staff will provide a nightly deep clean of our facilities, and recreation staff will clean throughout the day.
Scottsdale programs are not licensed childcare facilities under Arizona Revised Statutes Section 36-882. Programs are offered in a drop-in format. This means that youth are permitted to come and go as they wish, without signing in or out.
If your child has special needs relating to disability or medications, please contact Adaptive Recreation Services at 480-312-2234. Staff will discuss your child’s needs and determine appropriate accommodations. Children with disabilities are included into existing programs with their non-disabled peers.

Mountain View Community Center offers a drop-in after-school program for 1st - 8th graders. Hours are Monday - Friday, 3 - 6 p.m. Activities include arts and crafts, sports, tournaments, cooking, games, homework time and much more. Click here for more information on our After-school programs.
Senior Open Gym Basketball
Due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19), we are postponing Senior Open Gym Basketball. We are looking forward to offering this activity in the future. Please continue to check our website for information.

Reserve A Field
Please complete a field request form to begin the process. Requests will be addressed in the order they are received. Field requests must be submitted a minimum of three business days in advance of requested use. Forms submitted online will be addressed prior to phone calls received 480-312-7527. The Sports Field Reservation office reserves designated city parks and school fields for youth / adult groups and organizations.
