Explore college, career and training options at Scottsdale Public Library

Students and families considering what comes after high school can explore a wide range of opportunities at Scottsdale’s College and Career Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at Civic Center Library, 3839 N. Drinkwater Blvd.

The free event will bring together more than 100 colleges and universities, along with skilled trade programs, career resources and representatives from the U.S. military. Attendees can ask questions, compare options and find a path that aligns with their goals and interests.

Representatives from all three Arizona public universities and colleges from across the country will be available to discuss academic programs, admissions requirements and campus opportunities.

Students can also learn about the Scottsdale Teen Employment Program, known as STEP, and connect with Scottsdale Career Services. Advisors from the library’s College and Career Corner will offer information about financial aid, FAFSA assistance, college applications and essays, and SAT and ACT preparation.

“Last year’s fair was a tremendous success, and we are excited to bring it back in partnership with Scottsdale Unified School District,” Library Director Mike Beck said. “By gathering so many resources in one place, we can help students make meaningful connections and discover an education or career path that fits their goals.”

Students and families are encouraged to attend, ask questions and explore the many possibilities available after high school.
