Scottsdale Police named recipient of DUI Abatement Grant

The Scottsdale Police Department is the recipient of a DUI Abatement Grant from the Oversight Council on Driving or Operating Under the Influence and the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) for the fiscal year 2027.

The DUI/Impaired Driving Enforcement Overtime Grant (#DUIAC-E-222 totaling $30,000) will allow the Scottsdale Police Department to fund expenditures pertaining to impaired driving enforcement at heavily attended special events throughout Scottsdale. Impaired driving and alcohol-related collisions have consistently remained a concern for our department. This funding will help us aggressively address these concerns through proactive enforcement.
