Holiday Lights at McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park | Nov. 29 – Dec. 30
Enjoy a captivating train ride through enchanting light displays, carousel rides, miniature golf and more at the annual Holiday Lights event.
Tickets are $15 or $10 for select weekdays during the 8 p.m. timeslot.

Scottsdazzle | Nov. 30 – Dec. 31
This monthlong holiday celebration takes place from Nov. 30 through Dec. 31 in Old Town Scottsdale.
It features more than 45 holiday events hosted by the city and local businesses and organizations throughout Old Town. Plus, seasonal decor and light displays and special dining and shopping opportunities.
Here’s just some of the fun we have planned:
- Sing-Along & Tree Lighting Ceremony | Nov. 30
This signature seasonal celebration serves as the kickoff for Scottsdazzle.
It takes place at the Scottsdale Waterfront from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, November 30.
Stroll the waterfront to enjoy the holiday décor while you sip hot cocoa and sing along to classic Christmas tunes led by Scottsdale Community College Orchestra and local celebrities.
The night culminates with the lighting of a 36-foot Scottsdazzle tree.

Stop by the Old Town Scottsdale Farmers Market from 9 a.m. to noon on the following dates: Nov. 30, Dec. 7, Dec. 14 to meet Santa and receive a free printed photo. - Ultimate Family Play Date | Dec. 7
Join Scottsdale Public Library from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at the Scottsdale Civic Center for a free holiday event for the whole family.
The Ultimate Family Play Date will feature interactive art, science, sports and building activities, an author’s corner, face painting, balloon animals, a dance party with characters from your favorites stories, family competitions and even an opportunity to get your photo taken with the Grinch.
There will also be food trucks on site with refreshments.

Holiday Gift Craft: Snow Globes | Dec. 2 – 12
Tweens and teens are invited to make their own festive snow globes this holiday season.
This free holiday crafting event will take place at several Scottsdale Public Library locations on any of the following dates:
- 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, at Mustang Library (ages 10-18)
- 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, at Appaloosa Library (ages 10-18)
- 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, at Arabian Library (ages 10-18)

Parks and Recreation Holiday JamFest |Dec. 14
Bring the whole family to Horizon Park from 5 - 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, for a night of free festive fun, live music and plenty of holiday cheer.

Polar Express Storytime | Dec. 18
