Got water questions? Scottsdale has answers.
Have a question about drought? Wondering how Colorado River conditions affect Scottsdale? Curious about conservation, water quality, or the city's plans for the future?
Ask away.
Scottsdale Water has launched WaterQuestions@ScottsdaleAZ.gov, a new dedicated email address designed to connect residents directly with the experts who manage one of the city's most valuable resources.
As conversations about water continue to dominate headlines across Arizona and the Southwest, Scottsdale residents are hearing a lot about drought, shortages, conservation, groundwater, and future water supplies. Unfortunately, not all of that information is accurate—or specific to Scottsdale.
That's where WaterQuestions@ScottsdaleAZ.gov comes in.
"We know residents have questions, and we want them to get answers from trusted sources," said Thyra Ryden-Diaz, interim senior director of Water Resources. "Whether you're curious about where your water comes from, how Scottsdale is planning for the future, or what you can do to save water at home, we're here to help."
Residents can submit questions on topics such as:
- Scottsdale's water supply and reliability
- Colorado River conditions and drought planning
- Water conservation programs and rebates
- Groundwater storage and recharge
- Future water planning and infrastructure investments
No question is too big. No question is too small.
The new email address is also part of Scottsdale Water's broader effort to increase transparency, improve public understanding of water issues, and provide residents with timely, accurate information about the challenges and opportunities facing water management in the desert Southwest.
Questions submitted through WaterQuestions@ScottsdaleAZ.gov will be reviewed by Scottsdale Water staff and routed to subject matter experts when needed.
So whether you're wondering how much water Scottsdale has stored underground, what happens if Lake Mead drops further, or simply how to make your landscape more water efficient, Scottsdale Water is ready to answer.
Get the facts. Ask the experts.
