Project Summary
This fall the city of Scottsdale will pave several existing dirt roads to provide better dust control. The roads will receive a 3-inch depth asphalt surface in lieu of the temporary dust control measures that are applied on a six-month basis. Additionally, limited storm water runoff erosion mitigation measures with take place as part of this project.

Paving work will take place in phases at the following locations:
- Via Dona Road – Hayden Road to Pima Road.
- Peak View Road – 66th Street to 69th Street.
- Black Cross Road – Lone Mountain Road to Black Cross Cul-de-Sac.
- Granite Reef Road – Lone Mountain Road to Ranch Road.
- Ranch Road – Granite Reef Road to Pima Road.
- Smokehouse Trail – 81st Street to 83rd Street.
- Granite Reef Road – Lone Mountain Road to Ranch Road.

Construction Information

Phase Map
Work will take place in five (5) phases. On each street construction is expected to follow this sequence of work:
- Mobilization, survey work and plant salvage
- Utility adjustments
- Drainage medications (where needed)
- Paving
- Installation of salvages plants, hydro seed and crack seal
In general, work will occur between sunrise and sunset. Each night access will be maintained to all homes. Due to the narrow nature of some of these roads, pedestrian, bicycle and equestrian access may be limited during construction.
