Project Overview

This project will make several needed improvements to Thomas Road between 56th Street and 73rd Street. The project will address the maintenance needs of the roadway and replace and/or upgrade water and sewer infrastructure under the road. The lane striping will be restored to the current configuration.

Improvements include:

  • repaving treatment
  • replacing traffic signals
  • improved grading and drainage
  • replacing non-compliant ADA pedestrian ramps.

A geotechnical evaluation is currently underway to better understand the current pavement and subgrade condition and present possible rehabilitation applications for the roadway.
