About

The City of Scottsdale has a great selection of parks and senior centers that can meet many of your personal needs.  Walking, skating, jogging, fishing, baseball, volleyball, swimming, and a wide variety of leisure activities await the visitor.  Many of the facilities also make great locations for corporate or other social functions.

Indian Bend Wash

Many of Scottsdale's parks are located in the Indian Bend Wash. Acclaimed as an engineering wonder of the world, the greenbelt is one of the nation's most outstanding flood-control projects.  Seven and a half miles of lush parkland provide lakes, golf courses, swimming pools, many recreational facilities, and an extensive multi-use path system for skating, biking, walking and jogging.
Pick the park that best fits your interests—we're sure you won't be disappointed!

Connect with your Neighbors

The program brings neighboring citizens together to develop a close community atmosphere.  The goal is to conduct neighborhood special events promoting youth and family involvement throughout the city.  The program encourages citizens to get out and connect with their neighbors.

We provide block party packets to assist those interested in having a block party with an easy how-to list of what to do and who to call to plan out their neighborhood get-together.

In addition, if you have an event or block party to get to know your neighbors, call (480) 312-PARK (7275) and we'll send you "connect with your neighbors" name tags so everyone can get to know each other on a first name basis.
