Upcoming Election
The City of Scottsdale will hold a General Election on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 to elect two City Councilmembers. In the July 21, 2026 Primary Election, there were eight residents running for three seats on the City Council. One candidate, Solange Whitehead, received a majority of the legal votes cast in the election and was re-elected. The next four council candidates receiving the highest number of votes, Barry Graham, Bob Littlefield, Michelle Ugenti-Rita and Raoul Zubia advanced to the General Election.
On August 4, 2026, Bob Littlefield formally withdrew his candidacy and will not appear on the General Election ballot. Under Article 9, Section 6, of the City's Charter, the three remaining candidates – Barry Graham, Michelle Ugenti-Rita and Raoul Zubia will appear on the General Election ballot.
All candidates elected in 2026 will begin their terms in January 2027.

Candidate Information Pamphlet
A Candidate Information Pamphlet will be mailed to all registered voter households approximately thirty days prior to each election. English and Spanish versions of the pamphlets will be available online (scottsdale.vote) and at the following Scottsdale locations beginning Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026, for the General Election:

La ciudad de Scottsdale celebrará una Elección General el 3 de noviembre de 2026 para elegir dos Miembros del Concejo Municipal. En la Elección Primaria del 21 de julio de 2026, hubo ocho residentes que se postularon para tres escaños del Concejo.
