Donate to Senior Programs

"Adopt" a senior

When you adopt a senior, you will receive a list of items they have requested. See a sample of the wish list. You are asked to purchase three items off of their list, which will give you size and color preferences. You are also asked to purchase a book of forever stamps and an extra-large gift bag.

Optional items include the personal hygiene items listed below. You are more than welcome to include extra items like holiday-related snacks, additional items off their wish list, or items for a pet (if your senior has one).

Donate Items

  • Books of forever stamps 
  • Lotion/hand sanitizer
  • Chap stick/deodorant
  • Toothbrush/toothpaste 
  • Body wash/soap
  • Shampoo/conditioner 
  • Shaving cream/razors (men) 

Use the donor form (PDF) to sign up to adopt a senior or fill out the online form. All item donations are due by Friday, Dec. 1 and can be dropped off or mailed to the Via Linda Senior Center, 10440 E. Via Linda, Scottsdale, AZ 85258. Monetary Donation

All monetary donations go through the non-profit organization, Scottsdale Community Partners, that collaborates with the City of Scottsdale in multiple capacities. Please make checks payable to Scottsdale Community Partners with "VLSC" written in the memo section. Cash or check donations can be mailed to SCP at 7700 E. Roosevelt Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85257. Please include a SCP Donor Record with your donation. Credit card donations can be made online here
