Notice of Proposed New or Increased Citywide Rates and Fees - Fiscal Year 2022/23

In accordance with A.R.S. § 9-499.15, public notice is hereby given that the Scottsdale City Council may consider approving new citywide rates and fees and/or citywide rate and fee increases at a meeting in the City Hall Kiva, 3939 N. Drinkwater Blvd., Scottsdale, Arizona* at 5 p.m. on May 17, 2022, but no sooner than 60 days after the posting date of this notice.

Proposals could affect the following departments/divisions:  

  • Community & Economic Development – Planning & Development Services
  • Community & Economic Development – Tourism & Events
  • Community Services 
  • Public Safety – Fire 
  • Public Safety - Police
  • Public Works – Solid Waste 
  • Water Resources

A copy of the written report supporting the revised schedule for water and wastewater rates, or rate components, fees, and services was posted on the city’s website and in the Office of the City Clerk, 3939 N. Drinkwater Blvd., Scottsdale, Arizona on March 1, 2022.

*Please note that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Scottsdale City Council meetings may be held virtually with access by the public limited to virtual attendance through electronic means. However, the meeting is currently planned to be held in person at the City Hall Kiva and also broadcast electronically through Cox Cable Channel 11 and streamed online at ScottsdaleAZ.gov (search “live stream”).   Please check the City Council website for the specific agenda for this meeting and the latest updates regarding meetings and the opportunity for public participation and comment at this meeting.
