The following items are lost, unclaimed or found in possession of the Scottsdale Police Department. The City of Scottsdale is hereby giving notice to any potential claimant of the listed items. Potential claimants will have a period of 30 days from the date of this publication to contact the Scottsdale Police Department Property & Evidence Unit at 480-312-5888 to make a claim. Proof of ownership will be required. At the end of the 30-day period all unclaimed items will be disposed according the city policy.

Notice of intent to increase property taxes

In accordance with A.R.S. § 9-499.15, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT at a Regular Meeting of the Scottsdale City Council to be held in the City Hall Kiva Forum, 3939 North Drinkwater Boulevard, on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at 5 p.m., it is the Council’s intention to consider whether to formally adopt the Municipal Streetlight Improvements Districts levy and Property Tax levies by ordinance. These proposed levies are scheduled for discussion in formal public hearings at the June 11, 2019, City Council Meeting.  After adoption, these tax rates and levies will be effective for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020.

A schedule of the proposed property tax rates and levies and written report supporting the proposed possible increase in the primary property tax levy, and the schedule and written report supporting the proposed increased tax levies for the Municipal Streetlight Improvement Districts were posted on the City’s website on April 24, 2019, and are available on the City’s website.
