Police Property & Evidence Department

The following items are lost, unclaimed or found in possession of the Scottsdale Police Department. The City of Scottsdale is hereby giving notice to any potential claimant of the listed items. Potential claimants will have a period of 30 days from the date of this publication to contact the Scottsdale Police Department Property & Evidence Unit at 480-312-5888 to make a claim. Proof of ownership will be required. At the end of the 30-day period all unclaimed items will be disposed according the city policy.

Notice of Intent to Establish or Modify Fees

In accordance with A.R.S. § 9-499.15, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT at a Regular Meeting of the Scottsdale City Council on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 5:00 PM, which may be held electronically through Cox Cable Channel 11 and streamed online at scottsdaleaz.gov (search “live stream”), at Scottsdale City Hall Kiva Forum, 3939 N. Drinkwater Boulevard, Scottsdale, Arizona, or as stated in the meeting agenda available at scottsdaleaz.gov (search “agendas”), it is the Council’s intention to consider whether to establish or modify certain fees for the following departments/divisions: 

To be effective July 1, 2020:

  • Community & Economic Development – Aviation
  • Community & Economic Development – Tourism and Events
  • Community Services 
  • Public Safety – Fire 
  • Public Safety –  Police
  • Public Works – Solid Waste 
  • Water Resources (except Sewer Rates)

To be effective January 1, 2021:

  • Community & Economic Development – Planning and Development
  • Water Resources – Sewer Rates

Reductions to or elimination of certain posted fee changes may be proposed at the May 19, 2020 meeting.  See the materials included with the May 19 agenda for more information. 

Following such consideration, the Council may approve, disapprove, or modify said fee changes. 

A schedule of the proposed new and modified fees that includes the amount of the fees and a written report or data that supports the new and modified fees was posted on the City’s website on March 5, 2020 and is available on the city’s website.
