15-Day Requirement: Notice of Intent to Establish Fees - Indian School Park Baseball Facilities

UPDATE - Jan. 26, 2021:

Due to technical difficulties and lack of a quorum, the January 20, 2021 Parks and Recreation Commission was not held. The Parks and Recreation Commission is slated to consider these fees at its meeting at 5 p.m. on February 17, 2021.

Under the City of Scottsdale Community Services Division Schedule of Program Charges, Rental Fees and Fines effective July 1, 2020 and adopted by City Council through Resolution No. 11786 on May 19, 2020, the City of Scottsdale Community Services Director may authorize fees on a trial or “pilot” basis of approximately one year or less, provided any state law requirements are followed, including as necessary the required notice and approval by the applicable board or commission.

In accordance with A.R.S. § 9-499.15, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT at a Meeting of the City of Scottsdale Parks and Recreation Commission, which will be held electronically, or as stated in the meeting agenda available at www.scottsdaleaz.gov (search "parks and recreation commission") on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 5:00 PM, (new date) it is the Commission’s intention to consider whether to recommend the establishment of certain fees for the Indian School Park Baseball Facilities on a pilot or trial basis beginning March 1, 2021.

Following such consideration and recommendation, the Community Services Director may implement the new fees for a period of approximately one year or less. A schedule of the proposed new fees that includes the amount of the fees and a written report that supports the new fees was posted on the City’s website on November 20, 2020, updated on December 29, 2020 to correct a scrivener’s error for the date of the Commission meeting, and is available on the City’s website.
