NOTICE OF INTENT TO INCREASE CITY PROPERTY TAXES & MUNICIPAL STREETLIGHT IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS PROPERTY TAXES

In accordance with A.R.S. § 9-499.15, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT at a Regular Meeting of the Scottsdale City Council to be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 5:00 PM, which may be held electronically through Cox Cable Channel 11 and streamed online at ScottsdaleAZ.gov (search “live stream”), at Scottsdale City Hall Kiva Forum, 3939 N. Drinkwater Blvd., or as stated in the meeting agenda available at ScottsdaleAZ.gov (search “agendas”), it is the Council’s intention to consider whether to formally adopt the Property Tax levies and the Municipal Streetlight Improvement Districts levy by ordinance. These proposed levies were discussed in formal public hearings at the June 16, 2020 City Council Meeting.  After adoption, these tax rates and levies will be effective for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2021.

A schedule of the proposed property tax rates and levies and the written report supporting the proposed possible increases in property taxes, and the schedule and written report supporting the proposed increased tax levies for the Municipal Streetlight Improvement Districts were posted on the City’s website on April 10, 2020 and are available on the City’s website.
