Youth and Family Behavioral Health Services Hosts National Prevention Week

National Prevention Week serves as a vital national public education platform spotlighting the efforts of communities and organizations nationwide committed to raising awareness about substance use prevention.

Juvenile Diversion Program

Juvenile Diversion Program is for juveniles who are referred by the Scottsdale City Court or Maricopa Superior Court. The youth participate in a restorative program which includes individual & group education workshops in combination with community restitution.

Juveniles who have received Court Ordered Community Restitution may be able to complete hours at specific City of Scottsdale work sites, however, certain restrictions apply. Contact Youth & Family for details at 480-312-7922.

Restorative Justice Intervention Program

Restorative Justice Intervention Program is an alternative to arrest and court for eligible first-time juvenile offenders.

The Restorative Justice Program is a partnership supported by:

City of Scottsdale Police Department, Scottsdale City Prosecutor's Office, Maricopa County Attorney's Office, & Scottsdale Human Services

Scottsdale Mayor's Youth Council

The Scottsdale Mayor’s Youth Council (SMYC) provides Scottsdale high school youth the opportunity to learn about how local government works and how services are provided, and youth voice is shared with the city staff and elected officials.

Youth & Family Services Court Behavioral Health Offices

Youth & Family Services has two offices located at the Scottsdale City Court to provide Alcohol, Drug, & DUI Screenings. These offices provide supportive social services to adults at the Scottsdale Court.
