Second open house for 70th Street Neighborhood Bikeway Study is underway

As part of the city’s effort to provide a comfortable and connected bicycle network, Scottsdale Transportation is conducting a Neighborhood Bikeway Study for the 70th Street Corridor between Continental Drive/Roosevelt Street to the south and 2nd Street to the north. This 2.5-mile corridor will connect the Scottsdale/Tempe boundary to Old Town Scottsdale, connect the corridor to nearby biking routes and serve neighborhoods along 70th Street.

You are invited to participate in a second virtual open house on the bikeway study. Questionnaire results from the first project open house, held in November 2020, will be shared. To participate, please go to and search “Bikeway Study” to visit the project website. There you will find more information about the project and steps to participate in the virtual public meeting. You will be asked to watch a presentation and provide any additional comments about the project by Thursday, March 18.

For more information, please contact Senior Transportation Planner Susan Conklu at or by calling 480-312-2308.
