2023 Scottsdale Forward – Join Scottsdale’s business leaders, elected officials and key stakeholders in this premier economic development symposium focusing on key issues and events impacting Scottsdale’s economy. This year’s event features professionals from diverse industries who will share best practices on how to remain competitive through innovation. Thursdays at 2, 7 and 11 a.m.; 3, 6 and 9 p.m.; Fridays at 3 and 8 a.m.; noon, 4, 7 and 10 p.m.

Honoring Preserve Pioneers – On Oct. 3, 1994, the Scottsdale City Council took a historic step when it passed Resolution No. 4103, formally establishing the McDowell Sonoran Preserve. This is the story of the foresight and vision of the community to permanently protect the McDowell Mountains and Sonoran Desert. Mondays at 3:30 and 8:30 a.m.; 12:30, 4:30, 7:30 and 10:30 p.m.; Wednesdays at 4:30 and 9:30 a.m.; 1:30, 5:30, 8:30 and 11:30 p.m.

Legends of Airpower – Fifty-two men and women who made America’s air power the most respected in the world are profiled in this award-winning series. The series features exclusive interviews with Legends such as Chuck Yeager, Jim Lovell, Buzz Aldrin, and Paul Tibbetts. Spanning the first century of flight, “Legends of Airpower” effortlessly relates the life and times of these heroes. Mondays at 2, 2:30, 7, 7:30, 11 and 11:30 a.m.; 3, 3:30, 6, 6:30, 9 and 9:30 p.m.; Wednesdays at 3, 3:30, 8, and 8:30 a.m.; noon, 12:30, 4, 4:30, 7, 7:30, 10 and 10:30 p.m.

Living with Urban Wildlife – Living in the Sonoran Desert means sharing our home with a variety of animals including coyotes, javelinas and bobcats. Learn what attracts wildlife, how to live with wildlife in our neighborhoods and how to reduce human-wildlife conflicts. Tuesdays at 2, 7 and 11 a.m.; 3, 6 and 9 p.m.; Saturdays at 3 and 8 a.m.; noon, 4, 7 and 10 p.m.

Mussel Decontamination – Learn how you can help stem the invasion of these invasive species. Tuesdays at 3 and 8 a.m.; noon, 4, 7 and 10 p.m.; Fridays at 4:30 and 9:30 a.m.; 1:30, 5:30, 8:30 and 11:30 p.m.

Neighborhood College – These programs help provide residents, neighborhood groups and homeowners associations with the information, resources and tools needed to become effective neighborhood leaders. Sundays at 2, 7 and 11 a.m.; 3, 6 and 9 p.m. Watch it now.links to external site

Scottsdale 360 | Short Term Rentals – Join representatives from the City Manager’s Office, Tax & License, Code Enforcement, and the Scottsdale Police Department for a discussion on all things “Short-Term Rental.” This group will examine the law recently passed by the Arizona State Legislature and review tools available to Scottsdale residents regarding short-term rentals. Fridays at 2, 7 and 11 a.m.; 3, 6 and 9 p.m.; Tuesdays at 3 and 8 a.m.; noon, 4, 7 and 10 p.m.

Scottsdale 360 | Water Wise – With the Colorado River water shortage, we have been asked to reduce use by five percent or more. Scottsdale’s Water Policy Manager will talk about the city’s water resources portfolio, the efforts the city is undergoing to conserve, and ways residents and businesses can help. Sundays at 4 and 9 a.m.; 1, 5, 8 and 11 p.m.; Wednesdays at 2, 7 and 11 a.m.; 3, 6 and 9 p.m.

Scottsdale Memorial for the Fallen Dedication – Residents of the Scottsdale area, including nearby Native American communities, have served with distinction in the United States military for more than 100 years. During the nation's armed conflicts and in the course of military duty, 66 of those service members have made the ultimate sacrifice. Their names are now permanently engraved on the granite faces of the Scottsdale Memorial for the Fallen. The new memorial was dedicated Saturday, March 18, at Scottsdale City Hall’s Memorial Lawn. Thursdays at 4 and 9 a.m.; 1, 5, 8 and 11 p.m.; Sundays at 3 and 8 a.m.; noon, 4, 7 and 10 p.m.; Saturdays at 2, 7 and 11 a.m.; 3, 6 and 9 p.m.

Splash! Boating Safely in Arizona Waterways – The Arizona Game and Fish Department is back with tips to keep you and your family safe on the water. Thursdays at 3:30 and 8:30 a.m.; 12:30, 4:30, 7:30 and 10:30 p.m.; Saturdays at 4:30 and 9:30 a.m.; 1:30, 5:30, 8:30 and 11:30 p.m.

Veterans AZ – Veterans AZ celebrates veterans across the great state of Arizona and highlights their stories and accomplishments. Episodes of this video discussion program (also released as a podcast) feature some amazing people who have served our nation, and others who serve them – from the many wonderful organizations that support the veterans in our community. Mondays at 3 and 8 a.m.; noon, 4, 7 and 10 p.m.; Wednesdays at 4 and 9 a.m.; 1, 5, 8 and 11 p.m. Visit VeteransAZ.org for more information.

Veterans Day Commemoration – Rose Mattie, the 2022 keynote speaker, was part of an elite female program where she was deployed with the Green Berets to an Afghan village supporting the Navy SEALs in 2011. She was deployed to Iraq from 2003-2005, then again from 2009-10, with several roles in between. Mondays at 4 and 9 a.m.; 1, 5, 8 and 11 p.m.
