City Council – Live coverage begins at 5 p.m. Aug. 28 and 29. Meetings replay the following Friday and Saturday, respectively, at 5 p.m. Council meetings are closed captioned. 

Development Review Board – Live coverage begins at 1 p.m. Aug. 2 and 16.

Human Services Commission – Live coverage begins at 5 p.m. Aug. 9.

Parks and Recreation Commission – Aug. 15 meeting has been cancelled.

Planning Commission – Live coverage begins at 5 p.m. Aug. 8 and 22. Meetings replay the following Saturday at 5 p.m.

Tourism Development Commission – Live coverage begins at 8 a.m. Aug. 21.

Transportation Commission – Live coverage begins at 6 p.m. Aug. 16.

Arizona Wildlife Views – This Emmy winning program takes you across Arizona to explore all the great recreational and wildlife opportunities the Grand Canyon state has to offer. Wednesdays at 2, 2:30, 7, 7:30, 11 and 11:30 a.m.; 3, 3:30, 6, 6:30, 9 and 9:30 p.m.

Born in Fire: Scottsdale’s Revolutionary Fire Sprinkler Ordinance - Scottsdale took an audacious step in 1985; it began requiring fire sprinklers in residential homes. More than three decades after that controversial decision, Scottsdale remains a leader in the fire suppression field and residents continue to reap the benefits of a system that saves lives and property. Cinetime – This show features new international independent films. In this month’s film, “Game of Souls” from Germany, Luise travels back into the year 1410 to medieval Fichtelgebirge. There she meets many mythical creatures and must fight evil itself. Tuesdays at 4:30 and 9:30 a.m.; 1:30, 5:30, 8:30 and 11:30 p.m.; Saturdays at 2, 7 and 11 a.m.; 3, 6 and 9 p.m.

Fire & Water: Restoring Arizona’s Forests - Scottsdale was one of the first cities in the valley to sign on to support forest thinning efforts, which help combat mega-wildfires. Find out why forest thinning efforts are key to restoring our forests and protecting our watersheds, which provide water to valley cities like Scottsdale. Sundays at 3:30 and 8:30 a.m.; 12:30, 4:30, 7:30 and 10:30 p.m.

Liquid Assets – This program explores the history, engineering, and political and economic challenges of our water infrastructure. Sundays at 2, 7 and 11 a.m.; 3, 6 and 9 p.m.

Maricopa Now – Stories about students, faculty, administrators and policymakers who make up the 10 campuses and two skill centers within the Maricopa County Community Colleges Districts.  Thursdays at 3 and 8 a.m.; noon, 4, 7 and 10 p.m.

Maricopa Sports – Reports from all the Valley Community Colleges on sports programs available to students.  Thursdays at 3:30 and 8:30 a.m.; 12:30, 4:30, 7:30 and 10:30 p.m.

Mussel Decontamination - Learn how you can help stem the invasion of these invasive species. Saturdays at 3:30 and 8:30 a.m.; 12:30, 4:30, 7:30 and 10:30 p.m.

Neighborhood College – In this guide to homeowners’ associations, gain an understanding of your HOA's documents and how your community works in relation to maintenance and insurance responsibilities, budgeting, and generally how to get along in your type of neighborhood. The Road to Recovery - Learn the societal benefits of prevention, treatment, and recovery for mental and substance use disorders. Hear the positive message that behavioral health is essential to overall health, that prevention works, treatment is effective, and people can and do recover. Thursdays at 4 and 9 a.m.; 1, 5, 8 and 11 p.m.

Scottsdale Philharmonic – Enjoy a performance of traditional classical music by Arizona’s premier philharmonic orchestra. The Scottsdale Philharmonic is a professional symphony orchestra that performs free concerts several times per year to promote the cultural environment of Scottsdale. Mondays at 4, 4:30, 9 and 9:30 a.m.; 1, 1:30, 5, 5:30, 8, 8:30, 11 and 11:30 p.m.

Songwriters' Showcase Marathon - Watch exciting local artists take to the stage to perform original music. Fridays 2 to 5 a.m.; 7 to 10 a.m.; 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and 3 p.m. to midnight.

Splash! Boating Safely in Arizona Waterways - The Arizona Game and Fish Department is back with tips to keep you and your family safe on the water. Saturdays at 3 and 8 a.m.; noon, 4, 7 and 10 p.m.

Sprinkler's Clubhouse – Sprinkler the clown educates children on safety in the home, at school and at play. Daily at 6 a.m. 

State of the Fire Department - Learn how the Scottsdale Fire Department’s mission statement, “We Care for You,” sets the direction and vision for the department. The department’s three-year Strategic Plan considers current and future economic trending and compares those trends against the all-hazards response nature of the fire service.
