Scottsdale seeks input on Old Town Scottsdale Bicycle Master Plan

Old Town offers numerous activities and destinations for cyclists and is within a half mile of the Indian Bend Wash Path, the Arizona Canal Path and the Crosscut Canal Path that make up the larger Scottsdale cycling network. While Scottsdale overall is very bicycle friendly, gaps and barriers to cycling into and within the Old Town area remain.

You are invited to participate in a virtual public meeting to provide input on the Old Town Scottsdale Bicycle Master Plan. The plan will evaluate existing infrastructure and conditions for cycling into and within Old Town Scottsdale and then identify opportunities to improve the Old Town bicycle network.

To participate, please visit www.scottsdaleaz.gov and search “Old Town Bicycle” to visit the project webpage by Monday, Jan. 4. There you will find more information about the project and steps to participate in the virtual public meeting. You will be asked to watch a presentation, view additional materials and fill out a brief questionnaire.

For more information, please contact Senior Transportation Planner Susan Conklu at SConklu@ScottsdaleAZ.gov or by calling 480-312-2308.
