Scottsdale seeks input on 70th Street biking

As part of the city’s effort to provide a comfortable and connected bicycle network, Scottsdale Transportation is conducting a Neighborhood Bikeway Study for the 70th Street Corridor between Continental Drive/Roosevelt Road to the south and Main Street to the north. This 2.5-mile corridor will connect Tempe to Old Town Scottsdale, connect the corridor to nearby biking routes and serve neighborhoods along 70th Street.

You are invited to participate in a virtual public meeting to provide input on design ideas that provide you with the most comfort and convenience when biking. To participate, please visit www.scottsdaleaz.gov and search “Bikeway Study” to visit the project website by Nov. 30. There you will find more information about the project and steps to participate in the virtual public meeting. You will be asked to watch a presentation, view additional materials and fill out a brief questionnaire.

For more information, please contact Senior Transportation Planner Susan Conklu at SConklu@ScottsdaleAZ.gov or by calling 480-312-2308.
