Scottsdale Police Department Building Reopening

Update:

The Scottsdale Police Department is taking necessary precautions to keep the public and employees safe and healthy while reopening our facilities, beginning on Tuesday May 26, 2020.

We are making changes in our lobbies to ensure proper social distancing. This includes modifying seating arrangements, placing markings on the floor to maintain 6’ distancing, and asking that you remain home if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.  Our staff is assisting with regularly sanitizing public areas and limiting exposure to others.

Scottsdale Police always allows the public to use our on-line reporting option. For information on crimes that qualify and to file a report visit:

POLICE DEPARTMENT BUILDINGS

The front lobby at the Scottsdale Police & Fire Headquarters Building located at 8401 East Indian School Road. PD Headquarters will open as necessitated by appointments during COVID-19.

The lobbies at District Stations will be open to the general public beginning Tuesday May 26, 2020.  Normal hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (except for city holidays).

PUBLIC RECORDS REQUESTS

The lobby at the Police Records Section, located at 8401 E Indian School Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251 will reopen Monday-Thursday (except for City holidays) between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

To assist in expediting your request please call 480-312-1999 to allow processing time to make your request available for pick up and/or to schedule an  appointment.  Public Records requests can always be made online by using the following link:

30 DAY TOW HEARINGS

Citizens may schedule appointments with staff to recover a vehicle impounded under Arizona Revised Statute 28-3511. Citizens may call 480-312-2TOW (5314) for more information or to speak with a Hearing Officer before coming to the hearing.  30 Day Tow hearing hours remain 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday. 

 

PROPERTY AND EVIDENCE

Building 'B' Lobby Hours:

Please call 480-312-5888 to schedule an appointment to allow staff to collect belongings ahead of arrival.

Business hours to schedule an appointment are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., closed on city holidays.

The Scottsdale Police Property and Evidence building is located at 7601 East McKellips Road (Building B), Scottsdale, AZ 85257.

 

CANCELLATIONS AND POSTPONEMENTS

  • The Police Department Ride-Along Program remains suspended at this time.
  • Police Department Events have been canceled, including the Scottsdale Citizen’s Academy.
