Scottsdale playgrounds will open May 18 and work to reopen basketball and volleyball courts will begin

Scottsdale playgrounds and spray pads at city parks will reopen to the public for normal operating hours beginning Monday, May 18.

Staff will begin replacing volleyball nets and basketball hoops that had been taken down due to the closures. As each court is made ready, it will reopen. All are expected to be open by 5 p.m. Friday, May 22.

Tennis and pickleball courts were reopened to the public Friday, May 8.

As city buildings, amenities and programs re-open to the public, each individual plays a critical role in the community’s health: please stay home if you are sick or have any symptoms of illness; wash or sanitize your hands frequently; stay six feet away from others wherever possible and cover your nose and mouth when you can’t keep your distance.
