Scottsdale residents know that living in the Sonoran Desert means sharing our home with a variety of animals including coyotes, javelinas and bobcats. How to navigate encounters with urban wildlife is important for all citizens and visitors to understand.
The Scottsdale Public Library will host Darren Julian, Urban Wildlife Specialist, and Officer Debra Groves, Wildlife Manager at two presentations where they will share what attracts wildlife, how to live with wildlife in our neighborhoods and how to reduce human-wildlife conflicts.
‘Living with Urban Wildlife’ presentations will take place on Wednesday, January 25 from 5 – 6:30 p.m. at Civic Center Library, and again on Monday, January 30 from 5 – 6:30 p.m. at Mustang Library.
The Mustang Library presentation will be recorded and shared on the City’s YouTube Channel
to share with residents who may not be able to attend.
