Most city offices and buildings will be closed on Monday, Sept. 5 in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Here is how the holiday impacts Scottsdale's Community Services:
Scottsdale’s Aquatic Centers will be open limited hours with availability for lap swim and fitness center use. Cactus Aquatic Center will be open from 8 a.m. – noon, McDowell Mountain Ranch Aquatic Center will be open from 1 - 5 p.m., and Eldorado Aquatic Center will be open from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Indian School & Scottsdale Ranch Park Tennis Centers will be open for limited drop-in play from 6:30 – 10: 30 a.m.
Club SAR Fitness Center will be open from 6 a.m. – 9 p.m. Classes will not be held.
Scottsdale Adaptive Recreation center is closed, no programs are offered.
All Scottsdale Public Libraries will be closed. You can still access eBooks, eAudiobooks, music from Freegal, movies from kanopy and eMagazines from Pressreader.
Scottsdale’s Senior Centers, Paiute Neighborhood Center and Vista del Camino Community Center will be closed.
All Scottsdale McDowell Sonoran Preserve and Pinnacle Peak Park trails will be open. Make sure you are prepared for your hike with water, sunscreen, appropriate clothing, etc - the weather is predicted to be hot!
