Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)

City of Scottsdale Emergency Repair Program (CSERP):

The City of Scottsdale Community Assistance Office is requesting proposals for the use of an estimated $200,000 in CDBG funds to provide Program Management and Administration Services for the City of Scottsdale Emergency Repair Program (CSERP). The funds are expected to be available May 1. The CSERP provides assistance to homeowners in Scottsdale to perform emergency repairs to substandard housing conditions. Substandard conditions include those posing a serious threat to the health, safety or welfare of the household or affecting the immediate livability of the home.

HOME Investment Partnership Program: $269,000

The City of Scottsdale Community Assistance Office is requesting proposals for the acquisition and/or rehabilitation of affordable housing for rent or homeownership. The funds are expected to be available July 1.

The City intends to award the funds to one organization per funding source as determined by an evaluation of the proposals from the City of Scottsdale Human Services Advisory Commissions and Community Assistance Office Staff. The Community Assistance Office will be presenting a virtual Applicant Orientation tentatively from 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 18, on Microsoft Teams. A PowerPoint presentation will be available to view afterwards. Join the meeting links to external site.

Proposals for the Program Management and Administration Services for the CSERP and HOME funds will be available beginning 8 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 5, at the Scottsdale Neighborly Participant Portal links to external site.

The deadline for submission of proposals is 4 p.m., Monday, Feb. 6.
