March planned 5 p.m. Sunday in downtown Scottsdale

The Scottsdale Police Department would like to advise the public that there is a planned march that is set to occur at 5 p.m. Sunday, June 7, in downtown Scottsdale, that will include multiple road closures.

Those attending the march are asked to arrive at 2nd Street and Goldwater Boulevard. Due to the multiple closures for the march, the only way to access this location will be northbound on Goldwater Boulevard from Scottsdale Road or southbound on Goldwater Boulevard from Indian School Road.

The following streets will be closed for the march route from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m., when the statewide curfew goes into effect:

  • 2nd Street from Marshall Way to Drinkwater Boulevard
  • Scottsdale Road from 2nd Street to Indian School Road
  • Drinkwater Boulevard from 2nd Street to Indian School Road
  • Indian School Road from Scottsdale Road to Drinkwater Boulevard

View  the march route here.

Please use alternate routes if you plan on being in the area during this time.

As temperatures will be in the 90’s, we remind those attending to bring water and sensible shoes.
