Interactive Voice Response (IVR) for non-emergency callers


Today, Scottsdale Police Communications implemented an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) for non-emergency callers.

Callers dialing the non-emergency number (480) 312-5000, will now be given the option of automatically transferring to their desired department, while retaining the ability to speak directly with a dispatcher if they prefer.

The IVR was created to include the most common requests, including Scottsdale City Court, Fingerprinting Information, Remittance Processing (paying parking tickets), Property Unit, Records, Jail, and 30 Day Tow Line.  This new system will reduce the time needed for callers to obtain the assistance they need.
