Have fun every day at work – become a recreation leader!

Scottsdale’s nationally accredited and award-winning Parks and Recreation department is currently seeking recreation leaders to run programs and operations at some of the best locations in the Valley. Many of these positions are part time, and have flexible hours (like nights and weekends) for all ages.

Here are the current opportunities:
Recreation Leader I – This entry level position offers opportunities to work with after-school and summer youth programs, at the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park, one of Scottsdale’s many parks and more!
Recreation Leader II – This position requires six months of customer service experience to work in one of Scottsdale's three community centers or two senior centers. Employees in this position also run a variety of youth programs, assist at parks, work sports facilities (like tennis centers), coordinate adult sports leagues and work at the Railroad Park.
Recreation Leader II (Adaptive Services – Part-Time) – This unique position works with children and adults with physical or intellectual disabilities. Employees in this position provide assistance in after school programs, coach Special Olympics sports and lead social activities and excursions.

Scottsdale provides "Simply Better Service for a World-Class Community." We look forward to welcoming you to the team!
