Healthy Scottsdale
The city supports and follows CDC, county and state guidelines aimed to slow the spread of COVID-19. Scottsdale is focused on providing safe services, keeping our facilities clean and promoting healthy practices throughout our community.
A Healthy Scottsdale starts with You
According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, the virus that causes COVID-19 is spreading very easily and sustainably between people. In general, the more closely a person interacts with others and the longer that interaction, the higher the risk of COVID-19 spread.
The success of our community in the battle against COVID-19 relies on the collective efforts of individual people and organizations. Also, as Scottsdale reopens for travel, visitors are encouraged to take a Safe Traveler Pledge and follow a few simple steps to support a healthy Scottsdale. We really are in this together.
Each of us needs to:
- Stay home when you're sick or have any symptoms of illness
- Practice good hand hygiene – sanitize or wash for at least 20 seconds
- Keep your distance – stay at least 6 feet away from others
- Cover your nose and mouth when in public spaces
- Clean and sanitize items and surfaces you touch frequently
Help us in sharing this message – COVID will be with us for quite some time, and these healthy practices will help now and in the months ahead. Use the social media images, messages and print material below to show that you support a Healthy Scottsdale.
