Black Friday kicks off 2019 SFD Toy Drive

Black Friday is the official kick-off for the Scottsdale Fire Annual Toy Drive.  Unwrapped toys and gift cards are accepted at all SFD fire stations and headquarters through Dec. 20.

"These donations help make the holiday season a little brighter for many families," says Scottsdale Fire Chief Tom Shannon. “We appreciate the generosity of this community!”

Donations are distributed to partner organizations who serve families in need.  Yearly, 15,000 toys are collected through the toy drive, serving well over 1,000 families.

These agencies include:

  • Paiute Neighborhood Center
  • HonorHealth at Shea, Osborn and Thompson Peak
  • Cardon Children’s Medical Center
  • Family Promise
  • Arizona Helping Hands
  • Arizona Burn Foundation

If you have an organization or company that would like to collect toys for the season, let us know.  Send an email to
