Apply now! Scholarships available to support National Disability Employment Awareness Month

Each year, the Mayor's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities receives financial support graciously awarded by Gila River Indian Community to award local scholarships. These scholarships support college or college-bound students who have demonstrated personal educational resiliency and motivation in living with a disability to reach their goals. Students are eligible if they meet the following criteria:

  • Any student with a disability who resides in Scottsdale or attends a Scottsdale school.
  • The student must enroll to attend an accredited college or university.
  • The student must carry a class load of at least six credit hours.  

Students can apply through 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 1, 2021. For more information, visit ScottsdaleAZ.gov, search “scholarships” or download the application(PDF)
