Sewer work to close Chaparral Road at Scottsdale Road

As part of Scottsdale Water's ongoing commitments to maximize our water reuse and provide exceptional water and sewer service to Scottsdale residents and businesses, the city is extending a previously dry sewer line under Chaparral Road between Scottsdale Road and N. 71st Street.

The project, which will begin on June 10 and is expected to take approximately eight weeks, will require a full closure of this portion of Chaparral Road.

Local residents will need to take Vista Drive to 69th Place or Orange Blossom Lane to gain local access to homes in the area.

Portales Corporate Center tenants will be able to access the complex from Goldwater Blvd or eastbound Chaparral Road at the 76th Place roundabout.

All other drivers are strongly encouraged to avoid the area, with the best east-west alternate routes being Camelback or Jackrabbit roads.

Thank you for your patience as we work through this important project.
