About the Citizen-Centric Reporting Initiative
This format has been developed by the Association of Government Accountants and is similar to those issued by other local and state governments throughout the country.
The association’s Citizen-Centric Government Reporting Initiative encourages governments to produce and publish an annual ‘state of the government’ report that is no more than four pages long.
The document is designed to be visually appealing, and provide understandable information to citizens about the financial condition and performance of the city’s government.
Scottsdale received a “Certificate of Excellence in Citizen-Centric Reporting” for each report issued since 2010.
