Do you have a Kidde fire extinguisher? It may be on recall list

Kidde recently announced a mass recall of their home fire extinguishers with plastic handles.

According to the CPSC, the fire extinguishers can become clogged or require excessive force to discharge and can fail to activate during a fire emergency. In addition, the nozzle can detach with enough force to pose an impact hazard.

About 37.8 million extinguishers have been recalled.

Do you have one?  Getting a replacement one for free is easy.  Visit the cpsc.gov links to external site site to look up your model number and get directions on how to order a new extinguisher.
