Reservations are managed by the airport’s top-notch FBOs (Fixed Based Operators) – Atlantic Aviation, Jet Aviation and Signature Flight Support – and are required. This will ensure a smooth and efficient process for our guests. Our team is working closely with the FAA to schedule flights in an orderly and efficient manner and provide a seamless travel experience.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to serve such a prestigious group of travelers and can't wait to show off our state-of-the-art facilities and excellent customer service,” says Gary P. Mascaro, aviation director. “We are here to make your travel experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible. Our team is ready!”

In working with FAA air traffic personnel, Scottsdale Airport will have approximately 33 departure slots and three arrival slots per hour during the Prior Permission Request time period for Super Bowl, which starts 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, and goes until early evening on Monday, Feb. 13.

During the 2015 Super Bowl in Arizona, Scottsdale Airport had 1,189 operations through the Super Bowl weekend.

Scottsdale Airport has undergone major upgrades, especially since the 2015 Super Bowl in Arizona. An $11 million runway rehabilitation project and a $5 million project that created five additional aircraft bays for aircraft departures were recently completed.

Scottsdale Airport is the best way for travelers to reach the Super Bowl and other activities in the area, including shopping, dining, resorts, golf, spas and more. The city of Scottsdale is thrilled to host the "Super Season" and show off all that Arizona has to offer.

Our top-notch FBOs will provide VIP treatment to all visitors and based operators, as Scottsdale Airport has a reputation for excellence in private jet operations in the southwest.

We are looking forward to an exciting and successful event and can't wait to welcome everyone to Arizona.
