Registration open for fall landscape workshops and garden tour

Learn how to use water wisely while enhancing the beauty of your home and saving money by attending Scottsdale’s water efficiency workshops. Classes and the Scottsdale Xeriscape Garden tour are free, open to all Scottsdale residents and appropriate for all skill levels.

Back by popular demand is the Landscape Makeover & Rainwater HarvestingGarden tour workshop. Landscape design professional Jo Miller will help you design your own yard in class while sharing tips on how to harvest rainwater. Irrigation Specialist Jeff Lee will teach complimentary courses, instructing on how to both design and maintain an efficient irrigation system. Other courses include choosing the right plant for the right place and taking control of your landscape watering.

Is your HOA struggling with water budgeting? New this season, Water Conservation is teaming up with the city of Scottsdale Neighborhood College to offer two classes, Managing & Reducing HOA Water Use and “Smart” Irrigation Controllers, to connect homeowners to free tools and resources to manage and reduce their water use.

Traditional workshops will be held at the Civic Center Library, 3839 N Drinkwater Blvd. Workshops being hosted by Water Conservation and offered through Neighborhood College will be held at the Mustang Library, 10101 N 90th Street.
