Adopt-a-Road
- A roadside rid litter program where participants volunteer to pick up trash along designated adopted roads on an as-needed basis.

Downtown Ambassador
Are you people oriented? Excited about Downtown Scottsdale? Interested in sharing your excitement and knowledge with visitors who are new to the Downtown? Then consider volunteering as a Downtown Scottsdale ambassador.
Ambassador volunteers are asked to fulfill a 3 hour weekly shift at one of three information sidewalk carts, with time slots available between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and 2 to 5 p.m.. Also available is weekend coverage at the Downtown Carriage Museum which is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as well as coverage at any number of exciting downtown activities including fashion shows, art walks and culinary events.
Environment
FIRE
Volunteers are being recruited to assist the Scottsdale Fire Department in community outreach efforts and to provide administrative support. Opportunities include:
- Visiting seniors to help reduce their risk of falling or tripping in their homes
- Installing smoke alarms
- Distributing safety materials at community events, and
- Delivering items to fire stations
