  We need assistance with clerical work such as data-entry, filing, scanning, Customer Service Initiative Team, etc. 
• Afterschool Programs
  We can use volunteers for speakers/special activities or instruction/assistance with supervision of games/activities/children during the school year (Monday-Friday, 3 p.m.-6 p.m.) and we are flexible about the time/subjects you could present to the children.  The sooner we know about your interest in involvement, the more we can publicize your presentation/activity.

• Neighborhood Parks
  Perform park inspections anytime, day or night, throughout the year.
• Special Events

  • Holiday Harmony.  Contact Neighborhood Parks.
  • Mighty Mud Mania at Chaparral Park.
  • Neighborhood & Family Events.  Contact Neighborhood Parks.
  • Wet 'N Wild Water Day at Chaparral Pool.  Contact Neighborhood Parks.
  • Volunteers can assist with:
    Cook (to serve 500+ children)
    Set-up or run a station
    Inventory equipment for programs/events
    Make signs
    Put together a photo album of an event (could be taken home)
    Solicit food sponsors/prizes/etc.
    Stuff envelopes (when needed, could be taken home)
    Supervise on excursions

• Tennis instructors at Scottsdale Ranch Park.

• Tour Guides at Pinnacle Peak Park.
• Trail Maintenance
• Youth Corps at Mountain View Park accepted in March, interviews are late April-May, orientations are late May.  Program goes June-July.  Possible volunteer opportunities throughout the year when needed.  Please complete the Youth Corps Volunteer application (PDF / 64 KB / 1 page).
