Vendor Resources

According to state and local statutes for securing goods and services, the city of Scottsdale issues Invitations for Bid, Requests for Proposal, Requests for Quotation, Requests for Qualifications and various other methods to purchase products and services.

Construction - projects consist of building, altering, repairing, improving or demolishing any public structure, building or street, or public improvements of any kind to public real property.   LEED Gold certification required effective March 22, 2005.

Non-construction Goods and Services
- includes routine service operations, repairs, and maintenance to existing structures, buildings or real property in addition to the purchase of commodities.

Other - includes solicitations for Request for Information to determine availability of vendor products and/or services that may meet the City requirements. No contract or commitment will result from a Request for Information. The City may or may not issue a solicitation as a result. Also, included are Offers to Purchase for surplus property items.

Leases / Licenses / Concessions on City Property -
includes agreements for use of City property owned in fee by private entities, including concession licenses at WestWorld, Scottsdale Public Library and City Parks; and leases for golf courses, wireless, retail and other real property uses.

Architect, Engineering, Construction Management, Design Build & Job Order Contracts
- for the design and preparation of construction documents, master planning and construction management of public structures, buildings, streets & storm drains, sewer, water, parks, or other capital improvements.
