Payment by Phone (IVR)
City of Scottsdale utility billing customers wanting to pay their utility bill by credit card can now do so using a touch-tone phone anytime - day or night with an existing personal identification number (PIN). By calling, (480) 312-PAYS (7297), customers have the convenience of calling in their payment 24 hours a day, seven days a week; provided a (PIN) has been established. In addition, customers can also get account information such as their balance, bill due date and last payment made. The new automated system also provides recorded information about payment locations and water conservation.
To access the automated system, customers need a four digit personal identification number (PIN). It can either be the last four digits of your social security number or any four-digit number that you will remember. Those who have already given Utility Billing either of these can begin using the system immediately.
If you would like to establish a PIN (personal identification number) contact our utility billing office during regular business hours Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm at (480) 312-2461, press 1,3,0 and provide the representative with your utility account number and the PIN you want to use.
In addition, customers calling Utility Billing at (480) 312-2461 and Revenue Recovery at (480) 312-2705 now go through the new system, thus allowing improved routing for their calls. Customers may be asked to "enter" their account number allowing customer service representatives to automatically receive each caller's account history.
